The Association
Objectives
The ATIT aims to:
►Encourage collaboration between all members of the Association, promote and make known to the associates everything that may be professionally useful, or of interest for personal development in general, and their dedication to the textile / clothing sector in particular.
► Promote the promulgation of standards and legal provisions aimed at fostering the development, research and improvement of the textile / clothing industrial sector.
► Represent, promote and defend the interests of its members before the State, Autonomous and Local Administrations, and all kinds of people, entities, bodies and institutions, by carrying out all those actions that are considered appropriate, collaborating in everything that it will be required, provided that it does not oppose its aims.
What do we do
► Exchange of information, opinions and experiences that affect its members, cooperating with other associations on matters of common interest.
► Carrying out studies on the promotion and development of the textile / clothing activity, participation in the organization, promotion and development of all kinds of training and dissemination activities (fairs, congresses, seminars, etc.) related to the sectorial activity .
► Creation and maintenance of a job bank that is of interest to associates.
► Any action not included in the previous ones aimed at achieving its purposes and, in general, the development of the functions that are considered necessary or convenient for the Association or its members.
The Association of Textile Industry Technicians (ATIT)
It was established on March 24, 2007. It is a non-profit, state-level association governed by the current Associations Law. It aims to bring together all people who perform “technical” functions in the textile / clothing sector, from the manufacture of fibers to clothing, through spinning, openwork and knitting, non-woven fabrics, ropes, nets and braiding; dry cleaning, stamping and finishing; design and confection; both for clothing and home textiles and textiles for technical use.
